How to speak English and overcome fears?

When learning a foreign language, the first thing we all want to do is to learn how to communicate with someone else in simple life situations. There are several stages of speaking a foreign language:

1. First, we start by understanding what we are being told and answering YES or NO to the questions;

2. After that, we start to hold our own conversations and answer the questions we are asked in short sentences;

3. As we get better, we start to communicate fluently, in long, graphic sentences, and initiate conversations ourselves.

Often students say they are afraid to speak because they are afraid of being wrong, because they lack confidence. Perhaps this comes from being judged too harshly at school or in the family, or from being compared with each other.

My advice is just not to think about others, but to talk. It doesn’t matter what others say. What matters is how much I know and how much I have improved personally. The only way to level up is with yourself and enjoy every achievement!

Try to speak English every day. Take any picture or photo and say what you see. Then imagine yourself in that situation and describe what you are feeling and thinking.

Let real-life situations be the topics of your conversations. Looking at the illustrations, you will first say single English words, then phrases, and finally sentences.

Good luck! And know that consistent daily work builds confidence. So speak for at least a few minutes every day and it will be natural and easy for you to communicate quickly in a foreign language .
