Keeping your own notes is essential when learning a foreign language. It’s best to have one notebook in which you write down new words, grammar rules, exercise answers and other useful information.
Many of you have probably seen notebooks with English grammar rules on the first and last pages. I definitely recommend buying them and I think it is very handy to have the basic grammar rules close by. You can also have a binder where you keep the sheets with all the exercises you have done, the grammar rules , texts written by.
It is certainly not necessary to learn all the rules of grammar by heart, but it is necessary to learn to DETERMINE where the tense and word structure are appropriate and then write the words in the correct form using the notes. Gradually, by referring to the notes, the verb structure, the concept of tenses will become clear and you will look less and less at the rules. For now, take notes, choose the rules and apply them.
Good luck!
